🗺️ Sketch Teaser → Launch → Close

Ever feel like your launches drag on forever… or worse, they never really launch at all? One day you’re teasing an idea, the next you’re scrambling for posts, and before you know it—your energy fizzles and your audience forgets you even had something to sell.

It’s frustrating. You question yourself, you burn out mid-launch, and you feel like shouting into the void. The problem isn’t your offer—it’s the lack of a map. Without a clear structure, launches feel like improv. And improv doesn’t scale.

Today, I’ll walk you through a clean 3-phase rhythm that takes you from “idea” to “sold” without chaos: Teaser → Launch → Close. With simple dates and one CTA per channel, you’ll finally have a launch plan that’s fast, clear, and effective.

🧭 Why Phases Keep You Sane

Think of a launch like a road trip. You don’t just hop in the car and hope you arrive—you map the route. Each phase is a milestone:

  • Tease to warm them up.

  • Launch to deliver the main message.

  • Close to capture the fence-sitters.

Without phases, your audience gets confused. Some people think you’re selling, others think you’re just hinting, and many drift away before you get to the point. With phases, your audience knows the story you’re telling—and so do you.

👉 Structure creates clarity. And clarity drives sales.

🗂️ Step 1: Teaser (Dates: Set Them Early)

The teaser phase sparks curiosity—without spilling everything. Keep it short (5–7 days).

What to post:

  • Hints of what’s coming (“something new is brewing…”)

  • Behind-the-scenes peeks

  • Problems you’re about to solve (“tired of doing X the hard way?”)

Most important: give it a hard start and end date. A teaser that drags loses its punch.

🗂️ Step 2: Launch (Showtime!)

This is your main push—the spotlight moment. Runs 7–14 days depending on your offer.

What to post:

  • Core promise of the offer (focus on outcome, not features)

  • Proof: testimonials, stories, results

  • Benefits, framed simply and clearly

  • Direct CTA: “Enroll now,” “Join today,” “Grab your seat”

👉 Golden rule: one primary CTA per channel. If Instagram = “link in bio,” keep it there. Don’t split attention with “DM me” or “email me.” Simplicity sells.

🗂️ Step 3: Close (The Nudge)

This is where most people chicken out—but it’s where most sales happen. Keep it 2–3 days, and shift the tone to urgency.

What to post:

  • Countdown reminders (“Enrollment closes in 48 hours”)

  • FAQs to squash hesitation

  • Stories from early buyers

  • Scarcity triggers (deadlines, seats, bonuses)

👉 Reminder: urgency is a service. Without it, people who wanted in will miss out.

🗂️ Step 4: Proof It Works (Real Example)

A client of mine ran a mini-course launch with zero structure. We rebuilt it into 3 phases across 14 days:

  • Teaser: 5 days of curiosity posts + behind-the-scenes IG stories.

  • Launch: 7 days of posts, each pointing to checkout link.

  • Close: 2 final days of countdowns + last-chance emails.

Result? Sales doubled compared to their previous attempt—with zero new content. The only shift was structure.

🛠️ The 3-Phase Launch Checklist

Want to map your next launch? Grab a piece of paper and sketch:

  1. Three columns: Teaser → Launch → Close.

  2. Add dates to each column.

  3. Write one CTA at the top of each.

That’s your launch map—done in 5 minutes.
